Current Regional Reuse and
​Recycling Contracts

Below are the current regional reuse and recycling contracts that the members of the CLAIRE Wales group utilise. These have all been created with technical input from REW staff together with a lead procuring local authority. Local authority members choose to opt in to use these contracts.

Regional Textile Bring Bank Reuse and Recycling Contract

Awarded to JMP Wilcox with a start date of 1st March 2016 for a three year period with the option to extend for up to two further years. 

The lead procuring authority is Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and the following other members of the CLAIRE Wales group use this agreement:

• Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council
• Caerphilly County Borough Council
• Cardiff City Council
• Carmarthenshire County Council
• Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council
• Newport City Council
• Pembrokeshire County Council
• Powys County Council
• Torfaen County Borough Council

Regional Waste Electrical and Electronic Producer Compliance Scheme Contract

Awarded to European Recycling Platform Ltd with a start date of 1st April 2015 for a three year period with the option to extend for up to two further years. The option to extend was agreed between the participating authorities and ERP.

The lead procuring authority is Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council and the following other members of the CLAIRE Wales group use this agreement:​
